Once your assistant is connected to ShoSoft, ask the way you would ask a coworker. It reads your own ShoSoft account and answers in plain words. AI connections are included on Essentials, Professional and Enterprise. Not connected yet? Start with Connect ShoSoft to your AI assistant.
Ask (every paid plan)
These only read your data. Nothing changes.
1. "What do we have booked this weekend?"
Your assistant lists the events, their spaces and their status.
2. "Is the main hall free next Saturday from 5pm to 11pm?"
It checks every space for that window and says what is free, on hold or booked.
3. "How did we do last month?"
It sums up money invoiced, payments received and events for the month.
4. "What is still unpaid?"
It gives the unpaid balance and the largest unpaid invoices. A sample answer from the demo venue, with the invoice list it comes from.
"18 invoices are still open, $172,929.27 in total. The largest balances are the Encore Makers Market at $33,518.80 and the New Year's Eve Party at $17,487.39."
5. "Who is the client for Saturday's gala, and what is on their quote?"
It opens the event with its client, spaces and every line of the quote.
6. "How many tickets have we sold for Friday's show?"
It shows each ticket type with sold, still available and check-ins.
7. "What is still missing to finish setting up our venue in ShoSoft?"
It lists what is left, such as the address, logo, photos or spaces.
Act (Enterprise)
On Enterprise, your assistant can also make changes for you.
8. "Put a hold on the main hall for the Acme offsite next Saturday, 5pm to 11pm."
It checks the space first, then adds the event on hold. If the room is already booked, it tells you instead.
9. "Add prep tasks for Friday's festival to confirm AV, print signage and brief the bar team, due Thursday."
The tasks land on the event in ShoSoft, where your team already works.
10. "Build a quote for the holiday party on November 14 with the main hall and 120 chairs, and send it to the client for review."
It builds the quote from your own spaces and rentals, then asks before it emails the client. Nothing is sent until you say yes.
How do I get better answers?
- Name the event, the space or the date, the way your team says it.
- Ask a follow-up in the same chat. Your assistant keeps the context.
- For a change, say exactly what you want. Before it emails a client, deletes a record or logs a payment, it shows you a preview and waits for your OK.
